Two for the Price of One!

I was so excited to have the reveal release. I wasn't expecting that! I just want to say, thank you Bonnie. I am using "Boxy Stars" block as a leader/ender project. Another Bonnie Hunter free pattern. It seems to grow fast. I think I need another design wall! Here is my progress:

Here is a bigger design wall! Not really, I purchased a flannel backed table cloth, separated them  and hung it on another wall! Now, there just blocks on a wall.

I have a little more piecing to do. A few blocks positioned for easy piecing. A nearby basket with more pieces  at the ready. Fifteen more blocks to go. I am happy to say this has been entirely pieced on my vintage Singer, Razzy!

Until next time.......

  2. I can only imagine the horror of realizing that a sewn-in block is completely wrong. Thank goodness that you figured it out. Do you mean MLK Day sew-in? I'm off MLK Day, but not Presidents Day.

Have you checked out ANGELA WALTERS new blog for quilting business ... this might be helpful. It should put you in touch with other newbie long armers.

As for ambient noise not a big problem ... I am going to try using my laptop for podcasting as it is easier then using the desktop since I have to share it with DD & GdS.

SOUNDS like you have plans for retirement... I salute you...
