FLS Progression:
Two sleeves and 3 button remain. I should be completed with the FLS by the end of March! I will admit, being in this group has help me complete projects started! Don't want to let the group down.
Until next time.........

It's Been Awhile!!!
Well, it's been a few weeks since I have posted an entry! What's important is that I am posting now. Life gets in the way and things don't always go as planned! Updates on what I have been doing and my projects.
What I have been doing you ask? Well, I have been spending waaaaayyy toooooo much money! I will now own 3 looms for weaving. In addition to my 25" Flip loom, I am now an owner of a "Cricket" and a "Schacht Baby Wolf, 8 Harness floor loom!! Yay me. The floor loom hasn't been shipped yet. That's a bummer. It can take 4 week to be shipped. I am still excitedly waiting for it's arrival. I have been preparing her space in my craft area. I think I am nesting in anticipation of her arrival.
I had a Phat Fiber frenzy this past weekend. I was able to score a "Fluff" box! I tried to score another box but was unsuccessful. Today, my fluff box arrived. It has some beautiful fiber samples, a couple of patterns and a lovely little Spindle. It looks like the Spindle was made from a Chop Stick. I'll update you on how it spins.
I just completed a Mug Rug swap hosted by the "Quilting Gallery". Here's a pic of what I received:
A pic Mug Rugs for my swap partner:
As for my knitting, I am making progress on my FLS. I am about 1-2 inches from the garter stitch bottom band. I hope to be there before I post my progress for mid-term credit. That will leave the sleeves for me to knit. I can do this...
My HPKCHC potions assignment was crocheted, I found and iPod cozy pattern by FP Wear on Ravelry.
My weaving is coming along. I am almost done with the 2nd of 2 dishtowels. I will take pics when I take it off the loom.
Until next time.............

Didn't Forget
Hey my fiber and fabric friends! I didn't forget about blogging. I happen to be involved in a project at work and I also had to complete an online course. Now that that's done, I can play with my fiber and fabric!
Short and sweet. Updates on what I have done and continue to work on. I completed my AKA runner for my friend in Texas. Just have to weave in a few ends.
OWL project for the HPKCHC, Ravelry group, is still chugging along. The body of the sweater is coming along. I should be at a minimum at 50% completion by "mid-term", the end of February.
On the Loom is a new project. I am using 3/2 pearl cotton, 10 dent rigid heddle to make dish towels. I am trying a textured pattern using a "pick -up" stick. So far, I like the look, but I do wish the fabric I am getting would be a little more dense. Next time I'll try a 12 dent heddle and see what I get.
Quilting brings a "rug mug" swap that I am participating in. I have two almost done, just have to quilt them and sew the binding. I will complete those tomorrow and get them in the mail later this week. The due date is 2/14/11. No pic though, you never know who maybe watching. After all, I don't want my swap partner to see what she is getting.
Spinning, not so much. My Corriedale is still on the wheel. I will give my wheel some love this week. Lil Gem is feeling a bit lonely.
Until next time.............
