I love the enthusiasm in your voice when you talk about quilting in Savannah. I hope that you get a chance to do it soon.

ReplyDeleteI might be too late... But if not maybee I will be a lucky girl. If not that's ok too. Love the podcast!
ReplyDeleteGreat fabrics, so springy!
ReplyDeleteIt was interesting to hear you talk about your sewing machines. I was gifted an elna when I graduated from university many years ago. I loved it, but in 2007 I found a Bernina 630 with the embroidery module on such a good deal that I couldn't turn it down. It does everything I need and then some. I've done everything from heriloom quilting to sewing feathers on elastic for costumes without a hint of a problem. The free motion foot takes some practice, but it is amazing.
Maybe you should do a small section of your podcast about your machines, where you got them and why. What do you use the most and what was a waste of money in your opinion.
Good luck with your move and thanks for keeping me company while I sew.
