In fa...I'm doing Stitch n' Slash right now! In fact, I was couching on mine while listening to this episode. (Yep, I'm a little behind. But caught up now!) Yes, you did catch yourself--the teacher of both Stupendous Stitching and Stitch n' Slash is Carol Ann Waugh. Wendy Butler Berns is Art Quilting 101(which I'm also working on). I plan on doing Stupendous Stitching once I've finished Art Quilting 101. (Just finished Stitch n' Slash--at least, I will have as soon as the project is done!) I like your colors! I used regular cottons on mine so it's a bit more frayed. We'll see what it looks like once it's completely done...Sandy Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11533809618114581751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8586151293165110187.post-68756919120477259852012-07-30T12:03:09.418-04:002012-07-30T12:03:09.418-04:00Just listened to your last two podcasts. Congrats ...Just listened to your last two podcasts. Congrats on the move! I also love the Craftsy platform. I've taken other on-line classes before (and loved them for the convenience of learning from home) but also like theirs in particular for having a "lifetime" membership to the class so there's no rush to meet a class ending deadline. I signed up for three of the free-motion quilt classes (including the new one by Angela Walters and one on tailoring pants in the hopes that I'll get back to clothing sewing some
day (right now the quilting addiction rules).

Also love to hear that someone else loves power tools and Big Bang Theory! I haven't bought a jig saw yet (opted for a circular saw instead) and BBT is my family's favorite -- can't wait for the new fall episodes!Vivianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17845920248231910491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8586151293165110187.post-4567129301323985792012-07-30T10:54:25.264-04:002012-07-30T10:54:25.264-04:00Just listened to your last two podcasts. Or maybe I'm a close second. LoL. I am quilting, thread painting, weaving, sewing (projects like purses), made a birdbath out of glass dishes, baking, and I just started knitting and spinning on a spindle! I'm so hooked. Oh wait, forgot the card making and my photos on canvas! LOL. Hope you're settling in well. Take care!
MarthaMarthaVAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03936514662127166756noreply@blogger.com
